Adaptive Horsemanship

connect with a horse and learn about horses and horse care

This eight-week class is open to anyone with special needs. Please apply using the application at the bottom of the page.

Adaptive Horsemanship is centered on learning about the horse from the ground. Students learn about horse care, body parts of the horse, grooming, horse health, horse illness, and how to lead a horse. This class pairs well with Adaptive Riding classes.

Many people experience therapeutic benefits simply from being near horses. This class offers help with confidence and coordination through hands-on time with a gentle Miracles horse.

Classes are limited to three students. Every student is attended closely by Miracles' staff and instructors at all times. Each session is 50 minutes long.
