fun facts about horses and horse care
This four-week class is open to kids and adults with special needs. Please apply using the application at the bottom of the page. Horse 101 will resume in the future.
Horse 101 is centered on learning about the horse from the ground. Students learn about horse care, body parts of the horse, grooming, horse health, horse illness, and how to lead a horse.
Many people experience therapeutic benefits simply from being near horses. This class offers help with confidence and coordination through hands-on time with a gentle Miracles horse.
Classes are limited to four students. Every student is attended closely by Miracles' staff and instructors at all times. Each session is 50 minutes long.
