Joan Aune

Joan started volunteering at Miracles in 2018 and joined the board in 2026. She volunteers for side walking, horse leading, and chores. Joan retired from Transamerica where she served in a number of senior leadership positions across different areas of the company. She has a passion for serving her community, meeting new people, and learning. Joan loves being part of the Miracles organization and playing a small role in making a positive difference through volunteering. Joan lives just a few miles away from Miracles and has three adult children, Jordan, Jake, and Janae. In addition to her time at Miracles, Joan enjoys traveling, reading, exercising, and trying new things.
